I have been following team Gunter closely since they started in the Dragon Class, and it is an absolute please to have join them for the first time in my career!
I had an amazing 3 days where we had a bit of a shy start on Friday still getting to know each other and settling the boat up to speed, but Saturday we came strong and full of confidence to reach the top spots and fight for a podium position.
On the last day with only one race on a dying easterly breeze we just lost our second place overall just before the finish line, but we couldn’t be happier with a third place on our first event together!
I am looking forward for the next time that I will have the chance to sail on this top Dragon team and achieve some great results.
